Your primary job as a squad officer is to listen to your commander and to coordinate your next move with your squad members. Remember that you can hit CTRL+ENTER to chat with your squad.
 Communicate before you move
A good squad that moves together is far more effective than you running around by yourself with your own agenda. When you've died, take the time to talk to your squad and discuss the next move.
 Spawning / Placing spawn portals
If possible, try to coordinate your squad to spawn at the same location to keep everyone together for the next move. If you are alone, place a spawn portal at a safe location and remind your squad mates to spawn there. Also, wait at your spawn portal until your squad is complete before you continue!
