The hunter has no ranged attacks, but excels at melee combat with his high damage and wide attack arc. His slow movement my become a problem against the scout though.

I found it better to learn the Shapeshifter first, Hunters are truely epic is
you know how to manuever in combat, if not they are pretty easy to
kill.
otherwise get a grp of them, glide to a twr and everyone wingspin.
